A Murder in Istanbul

In one night, we will hang police tape with “Do Not Enter Crime Scene” written in black on yellow tape in front of Starbucks/McDonald’s branches located in different places. With as many people as we can gather for this task and as many branches as our strength allows, we will conduct a simultaneous operation, and Istanbul will wake up to such a day.

We are facing a problem of addressing. In fact, we don’t have such a problem, but it is treated as if it exists as a slight obstacle. Or let’s put it this way: The murderers act as if they are not among us.

Every day mass murders occur, every day there is a massacre. Apparently, everyone is on the side of Palestine. There is certainly a specific perpetrator, but they are just pulling the trigger. And the issue does not end there. Because when we talk about perpetrators, we start talking about a deceitful terrorist organization that envelops the world, about Zionism.

Identifying the perpetrators is one issue. Perhaps one could devote all their days to this. But various indicators cannot hide themselves for long.

The manifesto of The March of the Free said: “Why is Palestine our issue? We could list a thousand reasons and still not finish. But today, we will answer with a single sentence: Because they are human, because they are oppressed, and because everything is happening right before our eyes. Merely watching this brutality is enough to make us complicit. We need to add a footnote here: We know very well that those who say ‘Palestine is not our issue’ do not have an issue called Turkey either. The fact that they can comfortably make this statement is proof that they equate their existence with the existence of Zionism.”

We are not without adversaries; our enemies are usually known. They are known and also homogeneous. Just as those who do not have a problem with Palestine do not have a problem with Turkey, the preferences of these people in many issues show similarities to each other.

Thus, there is no need for one to open various fronts; one trench is enough for him alone. Because the enemy is the same. As if his thoughts are nourished from the same dark essence and emanate from the same ugliness, all their thoughts share the same signs. The consistency in the enemy’s evil is beneficial for us. This way, we can spend less time identifying them and engage in combat for longer periods.

No. The murderers are not unknown, and with God’s permission, we will not forget anything. From now on, there will be a definite hatred and hostility between us and these murderers.

It seems that when you stand up for justice, you are forced to think that you have no one to address. You stand up and they try to calm you down by saying, “Calm down, we are also on the side of Palestine.” When you say, “Then show us your actions that prove you are on the side of Palestine,” they respond, “We are also upset, but there is nothing we can do.” In such a situation, the killers are probably saying to each other: “Let’s place guards around here. As long as there are no extreme reactions, let’s allow people to express their anger, let anyone who wants come and protest under our control. But let’s mostly pretend to be innocent, as they will eventually forget everything anyway.”
